A movie set designer reads scripts, collaborates with the director to establish the movie's visual concept, and designs the physical environments, sets, and props by creating detailed drawings and models.They oversee the construction of these sets within budget and deadline constraints, ensuring they meet the production's narrative requirements and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Review script and extract requirements
- Work with director
- Make changes as needed
- Acquirer items as per script
- Be onsite as per director
Must Have
- Transportation
- Knowledge of reading scripts
Nice to have
- Experience in set design
- Experience finding and negotiating rent items
- Experience transporting items large or small
