  • Key Responsibilities of a Movie HR Specialist:
    • Recruitment and Onboarding:
      Identifying and attracting talented individuals, conducting interviews, and managing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are properly integrated into the production team. 
    • Payroll and Benefits:
      Managing payroll, administering employee benefits, and ensuring timely and accurate payments. 
    • Employee Relations:
      Addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and handling investigations related to harassment, discrimination, or other workplace issues. 
    • Compliance:
      Ensuring adherence to labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations. 
    • Training and Development:
      Facilitating training programs for cast and crew, promoting professional growth, and fostering a positive work culture. 
    • Document Management:
      Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, contracts, and other HR-related documents. 
    • Performance Management:
      Supporting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and addressing performance-related issues. 
  • In the movie industry, HR specialists may also be involved in:
  • Relocation Assistance:
    Helping new hires with relocation needs, including housing, banking, and transportation. 
  • Building a Talent Pipeline:
    Creating and maintaining a database of potential VFX artists and other industry professionals. 
  • Adapting to the Unique Demands of Production:
    Working in a fast-paced, often high-pressure environment, requiring flexibility and adaptabilit

 

Responsibilities (Specialized)

  • Lean recruitment, employee, payroll, apps on Odoo ERP
  • Ensure director is kept updated on employee attendance
  • Keep director informed on any employee issues (immediately)
  • Work closely with director and producer on crew or cast demands

Must Have

  • Computer
  • Positivity, energetic, outgoing, ready to take on the world personality 
  • Adapt to being and working around large groups of people.


Nice to have

  • Experience HR working with movie production 
  • Working with Odoo ERP
